The first, Friday Kaleidoscope, explores the tarot Court Cards through the lens of cultural icons, starting with ‘Hugh Hefner as the King of Wands’. “Love him or hate him, he proved something important: you don’t have to choose between being smart and being sexual,” writes Rose. “The King of Wands doesn’t apologize for taking up space.” Through Hefner’s rise and unraveling, she illustrates how tarot’s Fire King archetype can illuminate both legacy and ego: “Hefner changed the world in a bathrobe. Meanwhile, Rose’s Micro-Mance Tuesday series taps into a trending Google topic with surprising emotional depth. “In 2025, everyone’s talking about micro-mance like it’s some cute new dating trend,” she writes. “But most people are missing the point entirely.” Rose redefines micro-mance as intentional presence: “I want poetry when we’re naked. Rumi in the bathtub. Sunday afternoons that stretch into evening because neither of us reaches for our phones.”
